Algonquin: A poorly insulated pipe burst in the gravel crawlspace. The space filled to a depth of 3" before the water was shut off. The homeowners pumped out most of the standing water themselves. The crawl space had a lot of contents which suffered water damage. The technicians removed the bagged contents from the crawlspace and performed water extraction from the sump well. The technicians set-up airmovers to vent the moist air from crawlspace. They did not see any visible mold growth, but they took all necessary precautions to prevent the need for mold remediation.

Chickasaw Court: A frantic homeowner phoned ACR to report a washing machine overflow in their first floor laundry room. The laundry room and bathroom had ceramic tile and the hallway, office and closet had hardwood flooring. The water damage spread into the finished basement affecting the exercise room Berber carpet over rebond pad. The wood floor on the first floor was tented and the technicians set up an injectadry system. A carpet extractor was used in the basement to remove most of the water. The water damage service included the removal of the wet drywall ceiling, removal of baseboard and the perforation of the wall. The basement ceiling was tented with a dehumidifier. Due to the fact that the drywall walls were still wet, they drilled vent holes in the wood panel and added 2 additional airmovers. On the next day the technicians adjusted the positioning of the equipment in order to promote the drying. On the next day, the technicians removed most of all of the equipment, but left three air movers. They vented the drywall in 1 additional wall. On the next day, all of the areas were dry. The techs retacked the carpet and gave the homeowner information on how to schedule the carpet cleaning.

Falling Waters Lane - Dear Jim, I would like to thank you for the incredible job that you have done on the carpet cleaning at the Falling Waters Clubhouse and also want to let you know how pleased I am with the friendliness and professionalism of your staff. Upon coming the Property Manager of this site in February of 2001, I had a difficult task of finding a reputable, yet affordable, company to clean the clubhouse carpets. After many positivve recommendations from other Property Managers, we chose A C R. A C R charged more than other companies, but I can honestly say that neither the Board or myuself have never regretted the decision! As you know, the Falling Waters Clubhouse is available for rental by the homeowners, and not all of the renters are responsible enough to leave the place as clean as it wass when they walked in the doors. Our worst rental to date occured in the Spring of 2001. Holding what was the equivalent of a fraternity party, the clubhouse renter casued over $ 1,200.00 worth of damages to the clubhouse, including what I believed at the time to be unrepairable Jello ( Cherry ) and vomit stains on the carpet. You assured me that the place would look as good as new when you were finished with it and you lived up to your word! After your crew left, I would have never known there was a party two days earlier.

We recently had a situation at one of the Harper College facilities were a pipe broke and there was 1.5" of water on the floor. Jim had someone on site within an hour ro assess the damage. Within the second hour a truck pulled up loaded with the necessary equipment to remove the water. Jim monitored the process for the next week until everything was completed. I also received a daily phone call with the status of the cleanup. Jim also worked very closly with the insurance adjuster until the last piece of drying equipment was removed. I have a very high comfort level with Jim and A C R. He handles the entire process from start to finish enabling me to concentrate on more pressing issues. P.O. Box 43 - I had the privlege of personally experiencing the quality of your company's work in January of this year. De to a big thaw, the basement of my house flooded when the sewers were unable to handle the overflow. I had water pouring into my basement for nine hours, which was a devasting expereince. Bartlett Road - What would I have done without A C R? It would have been a nightmare. Thank you. December 28th, 1998, we had a flood within our office building of over 2000 sq. ft. under water. Our white knight, A C R responded with people and equipment within one and one half hours. A true miracle. Remove water, sort damaged material, help remove furnitire, scrub, wash, you name it, no matter what, your crew took care of it. THey did it the way I would have done it and I'm very p[icky. In fact, they did it better. After general cleanup, came the chemical treatmentss to prevent mold, mildew and all the smells that come from water damage. Last but not least that day, you setup all the fans and dehumidifiers to dry our building. 20 to 24 hours later after the first day, we were 95% dry. The only moisture that remained was in the walls. THe removal of trim and other actions on the first day aided the balance of the moisture to be gone within another 48 to 60 hours. WOW! No moldew smells, or permanent damage due to your quick response. I trusted a friend who recommended A C R and A C R didn't let me down. I have told my story to 15 to 20 business and property owners and everyone asked for A C R's phone number. I know I won't ever loose your number.

Canfield Avenue - On September 13, 2003 we had a sprinkler head burst in a second floor resident unit, flooding three floors of fully occupied long-term facility.
