Algonquin: A poorly insulated pipe burst in the gravel crawlspace. The space filled to a depth of 3" before the water was shut off. The homeowners pumped out most of the standing water themselves. The crawl space had a lot of contents which suffered water damage. The technicians removed the bagged contents from the crawlspace and performed water extraction from the sump well. The technicians set-up airmovers to vent the moist air from crawlspace. They did not see any visible mold growth, but they took all necessary precautions to prevent the need for mold remediation.

Diens Drive - I have had the pleasure of working with Jim O'Callaghan at A C R over the last several years. Obviously, the only time he gets a call from me is when one of my customers is in dire need of emerency clean-up and then when I call to thank him for taking care of the situation. We recently had a situation at one of the Harper College facilities were a pipe broke and there was 1.5" of water on the floor. Jim had someone on site within an hour ro assess the damage. Within the second hour a truck pulled up loaded with the necessary equipment to remove the water. Jim monitored the process for the next week until everything was completed. I also received a daily phone call with the status of the cleanup. Jim also worked very closly with the insurance adjuster until the last piece of drying equipment was removed. I have a very high comfort level with Jim and A C R. He handles the entire process from start to finish enabling me to concentrate on more pressing issues. P.O. Box 43 - I had the privlege of personally experiencing the quality of your company's work in January of this year. De to a big thaw, the basement of my house flooded when the sewers were unable to handle the overflow. I had water pouring into my basement for nine hours, which was a devasting expereince. The insurance company responded first. A representative called us several times throughout the deay to see if the water has stopped, and when it finally did, your company came in right away. Your employees were professional and through, and explained everything they were doing. They were able to clean ot the basement and sanitize the floor without upsetting the rest of the house, and made sure not to make any other unneccessary messes. Bartlett Road - What would I have done without A C R? It would have been a nightmare. Thank you. December 28th, 1998, we had a flood within our office building of over 2000 sq. ft. under water. Our white knight, A C R responded with people and equipment within one and one half hours. A true miracle. Remove water, sort damaged material, help remove furnitire, scrub, wash, you name it, no matter what, your crew took care of it. THey did it the way I would have done it and I'm very p[icky. In fact, they did it better. After general cleanup, came the chemical treatmentss to prevent mold, mildew and all the smells that come from water damage. Last but not least that day, you setup all the fans and dehumidifiers to dry our building. 20 to 24 hours later after the first day, we were 95% dry. The only moisture that remained was in the walls. THe removal of trim and other actions on the first day aided the balance of the moisture to be gone within another 48 to 60 hours. WOW! No moldew smells, or permanent damage due to your quick response. I trusted a friend who recommended A C R and A C R didn't let me down. I have told my story to 15 to 20 business and property owners and everyone asked for A C R's phone number. I know I won't ever loose your number.

Wheeling Road - On April 29th I had an unfortunate expereince in my home in which there was a blockage in the drain pipe. Canfield Avenue - On September 13, 2003 we had a sprinkler head burst in a second floor resident unit, flooding three floors of fully occupied long-term facility. Resorting to the internet I saw the ad for wwww.acrrestores.com. Figuring. "what have I got to lose," I called the number, immediately you answered and within 9- minutes had water damage crews on site. What followed was a professional approach to water damage clean up.
