Western: Sewage came in to the homeowner’s basement due to a sump pump failure and floor drain back up. The basement is finished with carpet, pad and drywall walls. A large amount of contents had to be removed in order to avoid the need for furniture cleaning. The A C R certified technicians used a carpet extractor which removed a lot of the water. The damage clean up also consisted of removing the carpet/pad and baseboards. Commercial cleaners were used to disinfect and then power wash. A drying system was set up to encourage quicker dry up. The technicians will continue monitoring the drying.
