Michigan Avenue: A pipe burst in the crawl space in a high rise condominium in Chicago and caused water damage in the units. Three of the adjoining units had damaged plaster ceilings, ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen and carpet and pad. The techs started the damage clean up by covering all of the contents with plastic. This was done in order to prevent any unnecessary furniture cleaning. The homeowners were concerned about damage to their new countertops, but all that was needed was a little granite cleaning with a commercial cleaner. They scraped the paint from the ceiling, and set up drying equipment.
